Regarding the armour ... well, these pics do illustrate a story by Wavedancer [with a little help from yours truly] in which the maidens sail south to invade an island in the Mediterranean sea. Since they find the climate pretty hot in the south they strip down to ... well, to their chainmail dresses, basically, which are not that protective, indeed. - In this very pic we see two cunning Samothracean girls successfully aiming for naked flesh. Since the vikings didn't know that much about nylon and polyester they had to have huge openings to get the head through ... large, inviting collar-lines, so to speak. The eager girl on the right just demonstrates how inviting ... by plugging her blade into the blonde's heart ...
