This is simply marvelous! I love the flowing style where it almost seems to have been drawn with one line. Love the little touches. The girl in the lower left corner, with two arrows to the face ... OUCH! The 'Hellas' belt buckle. The gleeful looking archers.
Thanks. Your comment reminds me that an artist always is the one person that has a different approach to his/her work. If these pics wouldn't have been around the net for twelve years now, I would probably have disqualified them as "too bad to upload". I can see virtually hundreds of mistakes in them today. But for somebody out there they might still be inspiring and ... may look flawless and new.
And you're right about the "flowing style": I used an ink-pen back then that didn't met any kind of drag while drawing. The fineliners I'm using now are much more like quills in that aspect ... - which gives the line an etchy touch.
